Facebook help

Recommended Posts

I have (I think) put a Facebook page for my website.

it is at:

https://www.facebook.com/newbuildhomes

Have I done this right to get benefit for my main website?

I did it via "page" on my personal facebook (previous attempt at:

https://www.facebook.com/JackJones#!/profile.php?id=100000925786423&fref=ts

Do I need to set up a business page?

I found Facebook absolutely horrible to use and cannot believe how this was ever a success.

I learned website design from scratch and it wasnt as frustrating as trying to get facebook to post.

It takes - forever very slow.

That's very decent of you Fabio.

I was a bit worried I amy niot have given it the right name or title or whether it shoudl be a separate account or not.

Now I know it is OK I will add some more links to the website.

Yup, it looks like you've set it up right. I even Liked your page to help you kick start your subscribers. ;)

I've given you a "like" too.

Maybe if everyone on here could "like" each others facebook page it may be of mutual help.

I will 'like' anyone liking https://www.facebook.com/newbuildhomes

Your site doesn't seem to have the Like button for your Facebook page. If you're not going to do Facebook PPC then you should look at ways to promote your page.

Here are instructions at how you can implement it on your site https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/follow/

You can also participate in groups or pages on FB and occasionally drop the link to your page.

I tried putting a 'like' button and it slowed the loading of the page down terribly.

I was thinking of doing a image link instead of using the facebook thingy.

That's an alternative. Having the Like button removes the step of having to go to the page. At least you'll have a link to the page if you use the image
